The solar PV system allows the museum to generate all their own energy on an annual basis, which has reduced the utility cost by over 60%. The system also includes 72kW battery bank, which means electricity is available in the case of a power outage. With the size of the battery bank, the system can offer backup support in case of a community emergency.
• Energy self-sufficiency
